I have adopted a older male neutered cat. Looking for a vet because no medical information available for my cat. After reading reviews I don't think I can go anyplace that refused emergency services! Disappointed because I am a older widow looking for reasonable pricing and compassionate services. Not for me! For my new family member, Big Mack!

Well, this is bizarre. Over a year ago (approx. October, 2020), I wrote a negative review about Springfield Animal Hospital regarding our beloved cat, Ella. At the time, SAH responded and I followed up describing what I believed were errors in their response. End of Story. Today, out of the blue, I received notification from Google that SAH responded to my review. Again? Confused, I researched it and found a response from SAH posted this morning to my old review. Today’s response refers to a doctor being out and only one doctor on duty the day in question. I was never told about a doctor being out when I was trying to schedule an appointment for Ella that day nor was I ever told that “. . . it was in your(my) pet’s best interest not to wait” I also definitely don’t recall Dr. Templ

I assume there has been a change of ownership in the last few years. They will go to great lengths to find ways to turn you away. I understand they are short staffed with 1 vet. They will mail, email, and text you important appointment annual needs to turn you away when you attempt to schedule. I will gladly find a better place to bring my dogs. They will GLADLY accept your pet and take your $$ if it doesn't require an actual veterinarian.

This place feels more like a business than a place that cares for animals. Rushed appointments, unnecessary upsells, and zero compassion—just a focus on making money. The staff seemed indifferent, and my pet’s well-being clearly wasn’t the priority. Would never return or recommend.
