spcaLA Pet Adoption Center

My partner and I recently adopted our dog Tater from here after we saw a photo of him online. The staff was so kind and helpful with providing us with all the information they knew about his past and letting us meet him. The facility was super clean and the adoption process was easy. They have a small outdoor area where they let Tater roam and play. They also set us up with the microchip registration process and gave us vet coupons as part of our adoption package. I would recommend this place if you are looking to adopt a new family member. We had such a wonderful experience and are really grateful to have Tater in our lives! :)

This place is awesome!! The staff is super friendly and is great at explaining the adoption process, which is already super easy and straight forward as well with their QR code. I came in, having my eye on a black kitten they were taking care of (Quasar), and they gave us some time to play with him and get to know him. I adopted Quasar then and there on the same day! He is the best and I’m super grateful to have found him with the help of spcaLA!! They also ensure that the animals leave vaccinated and neutered/spayed. My cat was too young to neuter at the time we adopted him, but spca does offer free neutering/spaying at a clinic near by as well :)

Our family can’t say enough about the wonderful people and facility at the spcaLA Pet Adoption Center. 3 months ago we adopted our beloved Cam who had been in their care for approximately 100 days. You could tell he was so loved by the staff and he had learned all of his basic commands, plus walked well on a leash. Everyone there was kind, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about the animals. After signing the paperwork, the entire staff came out to celebrate Cam and say goodbye. He was clean, healthy, and incredibly well behaved- all thanks to spcaLA. We are so grateful to everyone for taking care of our boy and hope others go there to adopt as well, can’t recommend them enough. Adopt don’t shop!!

My mom and I just adopted our newest furbaby from this shelter and we couldn’t be more pleased with the whole experience. The staff was friendly, the shelter was clean, and most importantly -the animals were well cared for. Shoutout to Demetrio for making the adoption process quick and easy! I highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of adopting.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. This place is not only clean, thr animels were clean & we were taken care of well. We were looking for a kitten and after several places we visited, this was our last stop. We arrived 5min before closing & they did not mind. Customer service was the best. She was very informative, helped us with all the details to adopt, guided through the process, showed us the available kittens, responded all our inquiries because this would be our first time adopting a cat. She went above & beyond to help us get our furry friend even though technically they were about to close. I appreciated this gesture that got us to find our new family member, Mittens. Thank you for all you do!
