Oh, what a night. I am a big softy, and I can’t bear to think of animals being treated cruelly or being put down because they are abandoned by their owners. The workers of the SPCA are doing an amazing job. The recent “Greatest Showmutt” event was a huge success. Please support them if you can

I went in person to the Veterinary Clinic after calling 4 times and leaving 2 voice messages that nobody responded, to ask as a walk in customer for vaccines, there were only 2 receptionist there. When I asked for vaccines as a walk in they told me I had to make an appointment 1st, I told them I called 4 times and left voice mails and nobody answered, she told me they have hundreds of calls per day and that they were just 2 ladies taking up the calls and nothing was available for today. Then I left and went to the Adoption Center (next building) were they made me sign in and sit by the hall and wait until somebody call me to show me the pets. After around half and hour I left and on my way out I was asked by the same lady that made me signed in if I needed anything, I said well not anymore

I adopted a puppy from this shelter less than a week ago, and unfortunately he is already sick. A veterinarian diagnosed him with a respiratory infection and conjunctivitis, which the vet explained are likely related to poor sanitation conditions at the shelter. What makes this even more concerning is that I already have another dog at home, and these types of infections are highly contagious. The vet warned that it is very likely my other dog could become sick within the next couple of weeks as well. This means even more stress, vet visits, and medical expenses that we now have to deal with. It is very concerning that a place responsible for receiving and caring for animals is not able to maintain proper cleanliness and health standards. Kind, caring hard working staff! We adopted a sweet elderly dog that SPCA rescued. Her name is Ellie and we love her! The people working here do their best to rescue these sweet dogs. They work hard and do their best. I see some bad comments from people who have so much to say, but never take the time to go there volunteer and help these poor animals. My husband and I wish we could take a hundred dogs but we can't. We found our sweet dog here who was surrendered by her family after 9 years. SPCA helped us find our sweet girl. Please, Stop knocking these people who do their best and work hard! If you can do it any better then get over there and help and stop your complaining!!

I adopted this absolutely perfect little angel baby from here a week ago, and it was the best decision EVER. There were many other sweet cats and dogs available for adoption too. I wish I could have taken them all. Everyone working was helpful and kind, as well. 10/10 experience.
