Southside Carpet

Sick of terrible online rugs? Go to Southside Carpet. They have incredibly dense and soft plain area rugs for about $100. They also have a selection of stylish rugs that you’d expect online for hundreds of dollars. By buying in person you can actually make sure the carpet is a nice texture. They don’t have many (any?) woven or wool rugs though. I also had great luck buying one of their remnants for a bedroom. Again, perhaps the nicest carpet I’ve ever felt purchased for $14 per yard. It was supposedly irregularly colored, but once rolled out it was flawless. Milage may vary, but incredible deals exist here. They’re an outlet not looking to upsell you. If you’re looking for a white glove purchase experience, this is not the place to go. People weren’t rude, just not in sales mode.

Wonderful carpets for amazing prices! Derek at this store has the best customer service skills I've ever seen. He took his time and stayed past his shift to help me even when his grumpy boss kept asking him to leave. He went above and beyond to make sure I got the carpet I liked. Thank you Derek, you make Southside Carpet an amazing place, and I'll recommend the place just for your excellent service.

This was the most rude service I've had in over a decade! I was there to buy an entire house full of carpet and was treated like a second class citizen. They apparently didn't need my business the way they brushed us off. I would recommend any place other than here! If I could give them a negative star rating they'd have it! 😡😞

This store has a lot of carpets with very reasonable price. My friend referred me to this place and we loved it and bought a patterned carpet to replace our old ones put in by builder. Since the store sells some discontinued products (which saves a lot for customers), we got what was in stock. However, a record mistake happened during transaction, the store owner reordered new product without charging us more. We ended up with a slightly different shades of carpet in one room. Reasonable priced products, large variety, kind owner and helpful workers, all these make this local store very special and highly recommend their services!
