Took my newest baby, Kojack because his eyes were pink and swollen & I’m so happy I took him here! Dr Emerson is excellent, you can tell he actually cares about the animals..he’s amazing! The entire staff was amazing really! The doctor was so thorough and just fantastic all around! I will never bring my babies anywhere else after this visit..so grateful! Thank you so much!

This is such an amazing animal hospital. Dr. Emerson and his staff are wonderful and caring. We've been going to Dr. Emerson and Southside Animal Hospital for years. They are like family to us. We love Southside Animal Hospital so much. Our dogs, Roger the beagle and Honey the mutt love Southside Animal Hospital too! Thank you!

I wish I could give zero stars. I waited at the vet with my cat for SIX HOURS with my cat squash who ate a large piece of plastic, including bleeding and inability to use the restroom. No on communication of any kind. Once I asked about every dog getting seen before me (it was almost completely empty when I came in) and they told me to go home and "wait until it passes". An infuriating waste of my day.

Thank Dr Dennis Emerson the each member of the South Side Animal Hospital.(Jasmin, Robert, Paige , April and Rose.) We made a hard decision about Our four- legged family member Coco Maxx , he almost 17 years old . We took our cat in for vomiting issues and we thought they were gonna help us figure out what the problem was or atleast why our cat was having trouble keeping food down we explained to them our concern and how we thought it was the food change that was making her throw up but despite that they still chose to give her multiple shots and us unknowingly allowed them thinking it would make our cat feel better and after doing some research i found out it was the sudden food change that made her throw up and now my cat is feeling lethargic from all the shots and things they did to her i now regret taking my cat here i shouldve looked at the reviews sooner we paid almost 1000 dollars over a food problem do not take your pets here!!
