My dog Tut has been a patient for a few years since returning from up north. Dr Pollard is the best. They are so caring, thoughtful, and easyish to get it to see. A bit on the pricey side but we wouldn't leave for anything.

These ladies are great. They are honest, fair with pricing and easy to deal with. They communicate good too. Email, text with follow ups and exactly what to do. Very responsive and understanding of a busy schedule. Can't say my dog loves going there, lol. But they do a great job and keep him healthy. Thank you Southpaw !

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to give these amazing people their well deserved five stars. In May 2024, my first pet (a cute black kitten named Chanté) was taken to the ER. I was told she wasn’t going to make it but I knew that I’d need to try my hardest to try to save Chanté so I took her here and they were so supportive and lovely. I was literally a mess and unfortunately Chanté did pass away. I was able to grieve better knowing that she was in the best hands here and that I truly gave it my all. They were even kind enough to get me a card signed by staff as they all loved Chanté. That literally was so nice I was bawling. I have nothing but positive things to say about Southpaw Animal Health. I had first brought in my Siberian kitten, Cup, to a different vet. I was charged ridiculous prices there and decided to find a new vet as Cup's neuter appt would need to be scheduled soon. I am SO HAPPY I found Southpaw after doing research and asking around for recommendations for a vet. Upon arrival, he was greeted warmly by the receptionists (and a surprise Shiba Inu). The waiting area is well maintained and cozy. Once we were in our room, we didn't have to wait long before the technician and Dr. Hannon arrived. I can’t say enough good things about this veterinary office. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and at ease. They treat my pets like family, not just patients, and it’s clear that their love for animals is at the heart of everything they do. The veterinarians are incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and always take the time to explain every detail of my pets’ health and treatment options. They never rush us and always make sure we leave feeling informed and confident. My dog Danny is very shy but seems to be totally at ease with the vet staff. My cats have also had a very at ease experience as well!
