Southland K9

My dog, Jolene, has made huge improvements since doing the board and train. Before I sent her she was crying loudly in her crate and being destructive such as eating doors and carpet. When I picked her up I could already tell the difference! She can now loose leash walk, is mostly quiet in her crate even when I leave, and has done an amazing job staying on her “place”. She has got a lot of her personality back since her training, before she was so constantly anxious that she was loosing her goofiness. I am also so glad to have a place to board her when I go out of town that is going to keep her accountable and allow her to not loose all the progress she has made. So thankful for Southland K9 and all the work they have put in!

the team at Southernland K9 went above and beyond helping with my very special Jindo. She came in with some unique challenges, and they met her with so much patience, structure, and genuine care. She’s come so far — more confident, calmer, and happier — while still being her wonderful, independent self. I’m forever grateful for everything they did for her (and for me!). Southland K9 really saved my dog, Leroy’s, life! Leroy is reactive and it was not only ruining his quality of life (he was hypervigilant ALL the time), it was ruining mine. A lot of people were suggesting re-homing him, but I just couldn’t do it. I love him and he loves me (fiercely!) There had to be a better way. We had a 2 year old male and purchased two puppies. Introducing the little ones was very hard for our older dog and created stress for my wife and I as well as for our children. We decided to board the three of them at Southland k9 with Christina and Jamieson and their team. I cannot express how their knowledge and support made having 3 dogs a complete pleasure and joy! The dogs were boarded through the Summer and learned boundaries and obedience. The puppies learned to respect the older dog and in turn, he learned to avoid them. In addition, we were taught how to have control over the dogs. Now we have them back at home and they get along, share space, and listen. I love Southland K9! I had 2 dogs trained with them, and I am so happy with the results. My Rottweiler has done amazing with listening to the commands and staying calm while out in public. My pitbull went for dog aggression and has shown such an improvement with listening and not causing fights. The trainers are very knowledgeable and have continued to help me even after the dogs have been through training. Recently, Christina has helped me with training the dogs at home to run on a treadmill, and assisting me with training my Rottweiler to let me touch his feet. I am so appreciative of all the help they have given me! They have truly strengthened my relationship with my dogs 💕
