While searching for a place to board our dog during vacation, we came across Southern Pet Lodge—and we’re so glad we did 😊! From the start, the experience was great. Dana was especially helpful answering all of our questions over the phone and making us feel completely at ease before dropping off our Aussiedoodle. Upon arrival I encountered a friendly and welcoming staff. It was clear that they truly care about the pets they look after. When we picked our doodle up, he was in excellent spirits—happy and full of energy. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. The added bonus of their location is the Pet Posh Spa next door! I highly recommend and we’ll definitely be returning! Thanks Dana!

My wife and I had planned an out-of-country trip, but our dog sitter canceled at the last minute. After discussing our situation with friends, we were recommended to Southern Pet Lodge. Dana, Tammy, and a young man treated us and our two dogs as if they were their family. We contacted Southern Pet Lodge to check on the status of our dogs, and they happily provided us with an update, which made us feel comfortable leaving them there. Thank you so much

If I could give zero reviews I would. My dogs were left with these people (if we want to call them people) for 3 nights 3 days. Upon getting to them they cowered and refused to “smile” even once I finally got them in my grips. They are not little dogs. They are big breeds and do NOT act this way. They started howling when we were leaving which is also abnormal. They are usually rambunctious and playful, maybe a bark here and there but they play quietly. These were not playful howls or barks. When I got them home my male dog rolled over into a submissive position and wasn’t wagging his tail. I looked over him to identify any issues and I found what looks like BURNS on his rear. What’s good about Southern pet lodge you as? EVERYTHING!!! They are so kind, the dogs are cared for extremely well. Our Penelope stayed for 8 days and was living her best life. We absolutely love them 10/10 definitely recommend

5/5 stars - My recent experience with Southern Pet Lodge was fantastic. After meeting the owner and touring the facilty, I knew that my dog Eli was in good hands. The staff members were incredibly kind and it was evident they genuinely care about the well-being of each pet. The facility was extremely clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Additionally, there was plenty of room to roam and play, both indoors and outdoors. One of the standout aspects of this facility is their personalized care. They took the time to understand my dog's routine, dietary preferences, and any special requirements that he might have. Moreover, the safety protocols in place provided further peace of mind.
