I switched vets, because I felt my old vet was just trying to extract more money than necessary. This office is halfway between my farm and home so it is convenient for me. Dr. Church and the staff did an excellent job making me feel welcome and did a full look over of my dog. I left with out anything unnecessary, and the good feeling that Dr. Church provided the necessary care and didn’t see us as a dollar sign. A great relief from a lot of the stuff that is currently occurring in the small animal veterinary world.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. My dog had never been to the vet and he had awful vomit and diarrhea for 2 days. I was worried and wanted to find a place that would work for our family. I called so many places asking about a visit, costs, etc. My husband told me to come here because their pricing looked good and they had awesome reviews. My dog doesn’t like people or other animals, but he really liked Dr. Church. You can tell she knows her stuff and she is SO good with animals. My dog has awful anxiety and by time we were seen, he was calm and actually liked being at the vet. I felt hopeless and didn’t know where to go. Dr. Church saved my little dog Delilah. I will forever be grateful! Dr. Church is helping me provide the best healthcare possible, for both of my doggie children ( we were able to get a new puppy recently because we can afford it with Southern Heart Veterinary Hospital). Whether you get a new puppy or you’re just not satisfied with the care your animals are receiving elsewhere, I say, “Go to Church!!!” Southern Heart is the best. Thank you Dr. Church!

We love this Vet and it's amazing staff. Dr. Church has always provided the best care for our fur crew! Recently we took the two littles, sisters, our chiweenies and they were so calm and good for her and the staff. It's heartfelt, compassionate, professional and affordable care. I know I'm being told the truth and best possible scenario for my babies. So far they've seen our 2 cats, 2 little dogs, and just one big English bulldog girl to go! Can't wait. Dr Church is one of, if not the best vet in the area. She clearly cares not only about her patients, but also about making sure her care is affordable. I was so sad when she left Smithfield Rd and have been looking for a vet as compassionate and upftont about the level of care a dog would require ever since, and am beyond grateful she's opened another practice. 10/10
