Very appreciative of the care given to our sweetheart Fudge. Her condition is changing now that she is older (18 yo) and the Dr and staff have made accommodations for her to ease her symptoms and stress. They listen and respect you. Something that doesn’t happen often anymore, even with human health concerns. It’s very comforting to know that they will assist our sweet angel here and with her inevitable transition.

There's nowhere cleaner, calmer, more convenient, with the great staff who care for our furry kid. Our scaredy cat is pudding in their hands. Everywhere else, he freaks out, then hides once home. This guy walked around like nothing happened, even going back into his carrier on his own!!!

The office was pretty clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Dr. Ladd was very kind, knowledgeable and professional. She knew how to handle my nervous cat. She discussed treatment plan with me and explained the difference between medications very clear. They even gave me a chance to see the bill before I made any decision, though my cat was covered by insurance. After taking my cat for a skin care suspicious of allergy to dust mite, I received a call two days later to follow up progress. They really show their care for clients, and I would absolutely recommend them to any pet owner looking for a quality vet clinic!

I first took my kitten here for routine check ups and vaccinations and had a wonderful experience. My cat fell ill about two months after her yearly check up and I returned to South Side Flats Animal Hospital (previously City Vets). All regular tests were coming back inconclusive and her symptoms were normal for a cat less than a year old. The vet then returned and told me he had a suspicion of what might be wrong but it would cost between $3,000 to $5,000 to get a conclusive DIAGNOSIS (no treatment included aside from IV fluids and an overnight stay at the vet). I told him that I could not justify that much money for a diagnosis without any treatment plan and I was told that "if it is what I think it is than euthanasia might be the best path forward." I had good experiences here for several years with my cat, especially with all of the techs. When my cat stopped eating and displayed concerning other behavior, Dr. Baldwin was dismissive of our concerns and blamed us for changing her diet in attempts to get her to eat anything. After almost a month of delayed care and having to go to the emergency vet, they would not take the time to review my cats CT results or assist with the referral process when it was determined that she had lung cancer. I am disappointed and frustrated with the level of care I received from them at what ended up being the end of my cat’s life, and when I adopt new cats in the future I will not be returning to this clinic.
