South Monroe Animal Hospital

I have been using South Monroe Animal Hospital for over 30 years. Dr. McMillan has continued the wonderful care. She has taken such good care of my dogs and cats over the years. Very compassionate Doctors and staff.

Dr. Kruger and the Vet Techs did an amazing job caring for our dogs from puppies to elderly dogs. They often made room in the schedule when the dogs had something urgent and were the kindest when both passed. I could tell that the staff recognized my dogs and that they treated them well.

I purchased a puppy a teddy bear from Petland mall Buford Georgia he’s just a baby when I arrived home to Florida with him, he was getting very sick and I wasn’t sure what was going on with him. And I was glad to take him to a South Monroe animal hospital and they took him in to take care of him. They sold me a very sick dog that was full of worms and parasite he’s just a baby he cost a lot but South Monroe Animal Hospital has made me feel comfortable and taking care of him and trying to treat him enough to come home, and for me to fight for what’s wrong by doing his test and proving he was sick when they sold him. Be careful when you purchase a pet but make sure you have the right veterinarian like South Monroe animal Hospital to take care of them. Thank you are

The front staff are not vety friendly, at times .. depending on who's there, they can be very rude, especially Zara (sp). On my last visit there, a fecal test was done on my dog. I had not requested the test, but was charged for it. After mentioning this to Anthony, the assistant, the charge was removed. Days later, I wanted to board my dog over the weekend but was told that my dog needed a fecal test. Well my dog has just had, even though I had not ordered it. When I relayed this information to the receptionist, she became very rude and wanted me to pay to have another one performed. When I asked to speak with the assistant , Anthony, I was told that I couldn't. I asked to leave a message for him, and was interrogated as to what I wanted to say to him. Finally, I was hung up on. Although the visits sometimes entail a thermometer in the butt, Beagle Bailey always comes out of South Monroe smiling. He loves all the techs and is so excited to go see them, and he adores Dr. MacMillan. I've been going to South Monroe since I adopted my first dog in 1999 and I really love it there. I always recommend it to all of my friends.
