On vacation and our French bulldog had an allergic reaction. We got a recommendation from a local on the OBX FB group. They got us in with no appt and gave him the needed attention. Everyone was friendly and caring. Couldn’t have asked for more and would love to have them be Gatsby’s regular vet! Thank you to Dr. Moore & her team!

Sound Veterinary Hospital is the best in our area. Dr. Jennifer Moore, in particular, is an outstanding veterinarian & has taken outstanding care of my pet dog. When we visit this veterinary facility, I feel that not only the doctors, but all the support staff, really care about my pet & will do everything possible to help him feel better. That's exactly what has happened for us. My pet dog, who was suffering from allergies & infection, now is feeling so much better. I highly recommend Sound Veterinary Hospital to anyone seeking the very best care of a dear pet.

We agree that pets are children with fur/scales/feathers/etc. At SVH you and yours are treated like extended family. There isn’t another veterinary location on the beach with a more honest, compassionate, friendly, professional, respectful staff than Sound Vet. You will feel at ease by the atmosphere, as soon as you walk in the door.

Love this Animal clinic. Brought my male kitty to get fixed. Dropped him off at 8am. He was ready to go home at 2:30pm. He did very well after he came home. The clinic did a great job taking care of all his needs. He got his shots updated. His nails clipped. He also got an id chip that was registered for me. I checked it online and it works great. Has all my information if he gets away and is found and scanned. Very happy with their service.

I'm so very grateful & appreciative to have this so very caring Sound Veterinary Hospital, here on the OBX of NC!! Nags Head, NC. The doctors and entire staff here are TOP NOTCH, and just wonderful!! You can tell that they ALL care so much for our furry kiddos, and that they love their jobs there!! It's just so evident in their manners, care giving, and in all they do!! Special shout out to Dr Hayes, who is just so thorough and caring, and takes the time to explain everything to you! I am very appreciative of you Dr. Hayes!!
