I had an amazing experience so far adopting my sweet little kitten Blossom (Akiko) from here. The process took about two weeks of emailing back and forth. For any comments saying they are unresponsive, perhaps try the main email not the portal. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout. They took the time to introduce me to each cat by name and personality, and made sure we found the perfect match. Blossom is an absolute dream come true - she purrs constantly, is playful, and loves exploring every corner of the house. We got her a water fountain, cat tree, toys, treats, and everything a cat could want, and are going to spoil her silly.
We wanted a kitten, any kitten age. The cats and kittens are so well cared for and about. We decided on "Cheddar", now named Zac. He's a 7 month old wild child and sweetheart. He was so well socialized he had no trouble feeling right at home. SPCA does so much for the animals in their care and in the community. I donate &10 a month, wish I could afford to give more. They are great.
My 4 year old daughter and I volunteer here about two times a week and we love it! It's small and cozy inside. They have been very nice and welcoming to us. We have already met a few techs, fellow volunteers, and even the operator of this specific SPCA came in one of the days we were there. Everyone is pleasant and supportive of enlightening and including my daughter (who wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up). All the animals seem well cared for and taken care of since we've been here (going on about 3 weeks now). I highly recommend them and support the cause they represent in trying to find homes for animals that need a second chance ❤️
This place really does care about the animals. And they are so very nice and helpful and patient when we went to look for our new kitty. ❤️ If you are looking for a new cat or dog stop by, I saw so many sweet ones that would love a home! Scarlett is still fitting in just fine. Brings tons and tons of joy to our family ♥️♥️♥️
I attended a volunteer orientation and enjoyed my brief time visiting with the animals and staff. This facility looks well-run and organized. The team here does a great job of supporting their animals and volunteers. I recommend giving some of your time to this cause, it's worth every minute. I can't wait to get more involved.
