Snippity-Doo-Dog Pet Grooming

Brought in my Great Pyrenees for a bath. Knew I’d pay extra for matting due to his long double coat. When I dropped him off, I very explicitly told them to not shave him. His double coat keeps him cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Shaving a Great Pyrenees ruins their coat. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I am so shocked and upset. Posting a before picture as well for reference.

Yesterday, we took our 6-month-old toy poodle to these people for her first grooming. Lucy was there for three hours, and when we picked her up, it was evident she hadn't been properly groomed. She was bathed, and they attempted to trim her face, but it was uneven; nothing else was done. They immediately complained that Lucy didn't like the blow dryer or the clippers. My wife was instructed to bring her back in three weeks so they could try again, charging only for the wash and dry. They then charged $85 for minimal work that was essentially just a wash and dry. Lucy weighs only 3.2 pounds. This place is a complete ripoff—one and done. I can't understand how they stay in business.

First let me say that I have been in this area for 5 months and have gone to almost every groomer in Fairburn/Peachtree city including Petsmart and Petco. I have an 8 month old Shih Tzu who is a joy and very affectionate but for some reason my pup was misunderstood at other groomers. They complained that his typical puppy behavior was to much for them to handle and I often got turned away because other businesses were to busy chasing the dollar instead of chasing the true passion behind their skill/craft. My last resort before I decided to teach myself how to groom my pup was contacting Snippity Doo, and boy was I and my pup Rocky in for a real treat. I can't say enough good things about this pet grooming spa. The owners are wonderful outgoing & caring. My dog chloe's grooming was perfect. She does not like to have her nails trimmed, but she was at ease here. She smelled clean and pretty!! Highly recommend this groomer!! Thanks John
