I've been coming to Heidi at Smooches for Pooches for 11 years now. She's groomed not only my two dogs but she also grooms my mom's dog (who went through several groomers before Heidi). Heidi loves what she's does and loves the pets that walk through her doors. I'm a helicopter dog mom, and I trust her with my fur baby because I know she would never mistreat them. People need to realize that groomers sometimes deal with the uncertainty of dog behaviors. What may be atypical for your dog at home, could not be the case when they are in a stressful environment with other stressed dog, like a groomers or even a vet. I have followed Heidi to every location she has been at I’m sure we have been loyal customers of Heidi’s for well over 15 years my fur babies love her my best friends trust their babies with her and my whole family of fur babies now see Heidi on a regular basis so regular we book the family bookings for the year if your looking for a great groomer to trust your babies with look no further my babies get so excited when we pull in the parking lot I would never go anywhere else. And anyone who has fur babies with allergies and skin issues the whole staff looks out for my babies if I ask them to clean ears or look at skin issues they always let me know if they see any issues. They are not honest! I called and booked my appointment with my request groomer…. Aaron L. And instead of telling me that he left the shop, they took my appointment, groomed my dog, and then told me after that Mr. Lovin is no longer there. This is dishonest behavior. When it comes to my animals and my kids, I should always know who I am leaving them with. This is completely unprofessional behavior. DO NOT GO HERE! I am deeply disappointed by our recent experience at this grooming facility. During our visit last week, I witnessed the groomer screaming at my dog in front of me, simply because my dog was scared and pulling. I initially gave her the benefit of the doubt, hoping it was an isolated incident. However, when I returned to pick up my dog, I overheard the same groomer yelling at yet another dog. Even more concerning, the groomer told me that my dog “did better this time” and that she did not need to use a hoodie, cotton in the ears, or a pinch collar. I was absolutely appalled to learn that a prong collar had been used on my dog without my knowledge or consent, and that cotton had been shoved into her ears—practices I find unacceptable and unsafe to be done by a groomer. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! I used to have good experiences with the male groomer and was always charged $95 for my cat. I’ve been here several times without any issues. Upon coming in today (11/12/25), they suddenly tried to charge $120, claiming I had been “charged the wrong price” before and that my cat “required two people.” Mind you they don’t even wash the cat. If you guys make a mistake, own it, I shouldn’t have to pay more because you don’t know how to run your business or don’t have enough clients to pay your groomers. The staff was SO unprofessional and rude, constantly contradicting themselves. First they said they told me the new price over the phone. Then the manager said “no we didn’t, because no one asked the price.” They were grasping at straws, even going as far as to claim I’v
