Smithaven Veterinary Hospital

Smithaven is by far the best Veternary practice that I have used. The veternary staff is very knoledgable and the support staff is compassionate and helpful. Would not trust my prize dogs any place else.

They are so caring and truly care about their animals and the owners as well. I have called last minute several times and all they have done is help us, the entire staff. I highly recommend Dr. Baldino and Dr. Cohen. They are also very fair with their pricing and I truly thank them for all of the times I have helped us when I have come in hysterical. Thank you for all that you all do.

Visited this Veterinary Hospital for the first time and was very happy with the care we received for our 16 year old Morkie. The facility is clean, well maintained, the staff is very friendly, and the Doctor we had seen (Dr.Coiro) was professional, caring, and easy to talk to.

I have brought my Ziggy to Smithaven Veterinary Hospital 2x. The first time was for an overdue dental appt. Being part Chihuahua, he had terrible teeth that worsened as he aged. Because he's 11, I was scared to put him under anesthesia, but they were so confident-I trusted Dr. Coiro. He extracted the bad ones and cleaned the remaining teeth. OMG! I was shocked at how white Zig's teeth were! He was soo much happier with no more jaw pain. YAY!!! Their prices are very reasonable compared to others. 2nd appt was a check up (bad allergies) and heartworm test. They are very patient and caring with my Zig; which isn't easy :/ we have to muzzle him and hold him down. My ZIG is a 25 lb tornado that I LOVE and would do anything for. He's my ride or die BOY. My dog had a tumor and they convinced us it was a minor infection, she died weeks later. They also failed to evaluate her teeth and estimated her to be 7 or 8 when she was more like 11.
