Smiley's Rescues​

Sid clearly cares about the animals, but I felt she was quite disrespectful towards me. I believe professionalism is crucial in this line of work, even when there are disagreements. While I won't give her a bad review because she does excellent work with the animals, it's essential to respect others as well, and that was lacking in our interaction.

In 2024, I went to the Fertile Fair for some delightfully questionable fried food. You know, the kind that comes on a stick and probably takes five minutes off your life, but worth it. Instead, I walked out with a kitten. Fast forward to 2025. I swore I was just going to “look” this time. That lasted a few minutes before I fell head over heels for another tiny furball. And yep, you guessed it…brought that one home too. Both kittens came from Smiley’s Rescue, and let me tell you, they do something magical over there. These cats are sweet, social, confident, and somehow already act like they’ve read the household rules. We’re still in the introduction phase with the other pets at home, but honestly, it’s going surprisingly smooth. No dramatic hissing, no soap opera standoffs… just a littl

Smiley's Rescues is a fantastic rescue. You can easily tell the animals are loved and so well taken care of while they are there. They worked with us on carefully choosing the right cat for our family. I am so thankful there is a rescue in this part of MN now!
