We started by bringing our mini Australian Shepherd to bootcamp for training help, and he LOVES it. Even with his separation anxiety, he can’t wait to go to Smartypaws. Bootcamp is reasonably priced, and the training and activities are worth so much more than leaving our dog at a day care where all they do is watch him. I highly recommend their Basic Obedience training - Julie is so compassionate, knowledgeable, and understands dogs amazingly well. Thank you, Julie and team, for working with us to give our fearful, anxious dog many positive experiences, making him much less reactive.

5/5 Stars - The Absolute Best in the Business! We have worked with several dog trainers over the years, but hand on heart, Julie is the best trainer we have ever worked with. Working with her was, without a doubt, the best decision we have made for our dog, Koda, and for our family's peace of mind. From the very first session, Julie's approach was a breath of fresh air. She doesn't just train the dog; she expertly trains the owner, providing us with the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools necessary to continue the work every day. Within weeks, we saw dramatic improvements in our Dog that has been life-changing for our family.

I wrote a prior review on FB, but way more people will see the comments on here. My husky Raiden and I have been going to SmartyPaws for 2.5 years, since he was a puppy. We started with Puppy Socials and then all the obedience classes, all the way through level 4 and he passed his CGC! We couldn't have done it without the guidance, motivation, reminders, and love from Julie Braun. Raiden is my first Husky, and they are known to be stubborn, independent, and escape artists. One of the 1st things Julie taught us was the most important, the wait command when opening the door. I foster for rescues and huskies are always the dogs lost and running away, so i realize the importance of the wait command now. She also taught us not to give in to him, but we wear him out mentally and physically every

I drove 2700miles to train my dog here! I put my fear reactive dog, Skeets, through level 1 before selling my house and leaving Vegas. (He got attacked 4x in 2 months as at 1 year old). He also did a few bootcamp classes before my trip. Just that first course made such a huge difference! I also learned a lot of things I was doing wrong. Skeets improved so much in the first course! I traveled back east with Skeets and tried one other trainer in Boston, and talked with more, and none impressed me. So I decided to drive 2700 miles back to Vegas and stay here for the winter specifically so I could put Skeets through more training with Julie & Smarty Paws! He just graduated Level 2 today and is already enrolled in Level 3. And I'm already looking at extending me trip further to get him thro

This facility is greatly recommended! Everything about this place and teachers are amazing! Julie is a great teacher for all advanced classes! My dog Colonel has taken level 4 and SD class and Julie is thorough, fair, and does her best to make sure all her pup students do THEIR best! Even tho Colonel has passed his recommended classes, I will continue training at this facility and with Julie! Thank you Julie for being a wonderful teacher!
