Small Door Veterinary - Park Slope

First time raising a cat, came in with many questions. Dr Dei and nurse Jess provided a very pleasant experience, answered all my questions thoroughly and provided very good resources for me to fill in any gaps I had. Receptionist was also very friendly! The office itself was neat and kept very clean. We also got a little Halloween themed tie since it was around October. Great experience overall

Dr. Dei is such a thoughtful and caring vet. She always takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and makes sure you feel comfortable with every decision, which I really appreciate. The whole team is incredibly kind, and you can tell they genuinely care about the animals and their owners. They’re also very transparent about costs and always share estimates before any diagnostics or treatments. I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a vet who is both compassionate and thorough.

the customer service at small door is among the best. i had no issues making an appointment for my cat rufus, and when we arrived for his visit, the front desk team was very helpful (i get nervous when im stressed!) and the medical staff was great. rufus got the best care for his check up and went home a happy camper!

The service was caring and dedicated to my pets needs. I felt better but still afraid for his surgery. They are great with support and reassurance that he will be fine. I’d just feel reluctant, my bub needs a recovery home. He is in need of dental surgery and most likely will obstruct a few teeth. The airway near us isn’t a yes for lucky’s after surgery. I feel sad. I love my baby Lucky. He is a mixed poodle and awesome to be around.

We are new to this vet clinic but the staff has been wonderful. I have french bulldogs and they are suffering from ear infections, food allergies and a current hemotoma. Dr Dei has been amazing to work with along with the rest of the staff. Lesley, is always super helpful trying to get us in and we thank her. I am unbelievably happy with our new vets!
