We have been traveling over 4 hours one way to see Dr. Toothaker for all of our animals for nearly 7 years now. Dr. Toothaker is an incredibly talented, knowledgeable, honest and no-nonsense practitioner. Each time we see him, we continue to be impressed with his expertise and with the level of care he provides to his patients. In May, our cat broke his femur in two places. We had two other vets quote us between $2.5-3.5k to amputate the leg, which they deemed "necessary treatment". If we didn't do the surgery, they said he would suffer from severe arthritis for the rest of his life. When we brought him up to Toothaker (who agreed to do the surgery for over $1k less than the other quotes), Toothaker reviewed the scans with us and suggested we try to let the leg heal completely on it's own-

Friendly, kind staff and knowledgeable, reassuring doctor. Reasonable prices. They would be my choice for animal hospital if I lived here instead of just visiting.
