Sit Means Sit Midsouth Dog Training

Alan helped to save our dog’s life. We were seriously considering putting her down, which was a heartbreaking thought for my daughters. We now have the structure and tools we need to have in place to maintain a safe environment. It has taken regular practice to maintain what she has learned, though so far we still have a safe home with no dog aggression incidents since she has been home. And, we know what to do if she does act out. I appreciate how Alan has been available after her training to answer questions that have come up since she came home after her 3 week training. Highly recommend

Alan was easy to work with, professional, and timely. After two weeks with him, my dog clearly grasps his commands, and has a great foundation to build our relationship on. Alan has a wealth of knowledge and experience, and he will answer any questions you have, even after the training period, which I find very useful. I highly recommended his program to anyone considering it.

I recently adopted Milo, from the picture below, when we brought him home he wasn't hyper but he would not listen to anything we commanded it to do. Me being disabled I spoke with him about the how we need to get him trained. Not only for obedience but for him to be a Psychiatric Service dog to my Complex PTSD. So we paid the reasonably amount and we let him take our dear Milo to hang out with him for a few weeks to get properly trained to do the job I need him to do. After the said weeks we went to pick up our dog and Alan recommended that we walk with Milo and say a few commands so he can used to us training him. I sent my 4 month old bully (now 6 months) here for training and they were amazing!!! Sent us updates every single night (even on holidays) and made us feel very at ease leaving her for the 2 week train and board!! She’s still learning a lot but her behavior before training was atrocious 🤣 she knows how to sit, stay, place, come and easily learned how to drop toys when it’s playtime. 10000% recommend and have told several of my friends and clients about our great experience (:

My family and I saw the Sit Means Sit jeep a soccer game and knew that we should call. We had just gotten a very rambunctious Great Dane (Buffy) and decided our best option was to train her. When we met with Alan we knew it was the right decision for her. Alan has been the best with showing us what we needed to do to help her and overall showing us step by step what Buffy learned. While he trained her, he sent pictures and videos to show us her progress. After her training ended he told us about the group classes to further Buffy's skills. Buffy's confidence has improved along with her obedience/ listening skill's. Alan was definitely the best decision for our family. Highly recommend!
