I was impressed by the patience and expertise of the team at Sit Means Sit Dog Training of Westchester. Their kindness, experience and professionalism made the whole process enjoyable and effective. The trainers really understood my dog’s needs and provided clear, gentle guidance. The team is such a great community of people and I am happy to be apart of it! They are ALL fantastic and make the process that much better. I would definitely recommend them for dog training in Westchester, NY and look forward to returning for the next session. Milo is my lovable 90-pound Golden Retriever/Rottweiler rescue -- big, strong and attention-seeking. When I realized that I didn't have all of the tools necessary to manage him, I searched training programs near me. I contacted Sit Means Sit, and from the initial phone evaluation followed by in-person meeting with Alexa, I knew that I made the right decision. We started 1:1 classes, graduated from the "Dream Dog Academy" and continue with ongoing group classes and events -- this experience has been life-changing for both me and Milo. We had a wonderful experience with Sit Means Sit Dog Training of Westchester. Our trainers were incredibly patient, consistent and full of love and enthusiasm with our puppy, Lucky. Neil, Jamie and the whole Sit means Sit staff were so sweet, kind and very knowledgeable and made my dog’s progress so quick and enjoyable. The trainer’s patience and kindness made every session enjoyable, and it was clear they truly loved my dogs. Their professionalism and deep knowledge of obedience training gave me complete confidence. Now my dogs confidently go to their place and stay calmly when they need to refocus. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t say enough great things about Sit Means Sit Dog Training! From the moment we walked in, Neal, Samantha, Chris, Alexa, and the entire staff made us feel welcome and supported. They are knowledgeable, patient, and always attentive—taking into consideration each dog’s needs and personality during the training. Our son Bo, a stubborn Frenchie-Dachshund mix, is taking a little longer to learn—partly because of his breed and partly because his parents (us!) have been a bit slow with follow-through.
