Sit Means Sit Dog Training - East Central Minnesota

Tessie has been working with my Doberman puppy and I. I’ve never been to a professional trainer so I wasn’t sure what to expect and it felt intimating to start. This is also my first Doberman and I feel a great deal of responsibility, having a high guard dog, to commit to training to ensure the safety of her and others. Tessie teaches at our pace and very clearly has a gift for working with animals. She provides clear direction and encouraging advice. I feel more confident each session and it has really brought my pup and I closer together. It’s been a very rewarding experience and I’m looking forward to advancing! A well deserved five star.

It's been a great experience working with Tessie to train our TWC. We were not expecting to add a dog to our family, but we found him and quickly decided to put him in training as we had zero knowledge about his previous life. Tessie has done a great job working with our pup, as well as us, to make his transition into our home smooth! We will do this again in a heartbeat if we add another dog in the future.

Tessie is a lifesaver! I was hesitant to pull the trigger with professional training until my German Shepherd’s aggression progressed & worsen. Tessie at sit means sit has been wonderful. We rescued a malamute who was adopted/returned twice due to different reasons. In his almost two years of life, he never had a home to call his own.
