So glad I found Sit means Sit! I was having problems with my black and tan coonhound rescue dog, named Xtra. He wasn’t listening or obeying. I was worried he would get hurt. After 4 weeks of day training with Jenn, Xtra is now a well behaved dog. He’s not perfect but he’s 100% better than a month ago! I feel more confident and more in control when I take him for walks. And he’s genuinely a happier dog. Thank you for the personalized care and attention Jenn - you ROCK!

I've had great success with SitMeansSit, Forsyth having worked with them for the past year. Considering this was our first pet and both of us (my wife and I) were working, we were very nervous if it would workout on having a pet at home and to be completely honest without the team at SitMeansSit we would really have been lost. Alex helped us choose the right breed for our needs and gave us tips on what to watch for when we picked up the puppy. He referred us to a dog boarding as well as a veterinarian and both of them worked out absolutely great for us. Once we got our puppy, Alex came home more than once to help us setup the environment for the puppy to feel comfortable and give us guidance on handling him around the house. We started the weekly puppy classes where we would take him in

We have just finished our day training and learned so much. Jenn is an amazing trainer who works so hard to help dogs be the best versions of themselves (and owners be the best owners they can be!) Our 2 year old rescue started training stressed and timid and in 4 weeks follows basic commands and LOVES going to her training class. All of us are much more confident and comfortable. Jenn did an amazing job of explaining each step in detail and spent so much time answering our questions and making sure we comfortable with everything she taught our pup and then us. She engaged with every member of our family and encouraged our 12 and 10 year olds to be fully involved in the training process, too. As first time dog owners, we found this training (and the continued support) to be a great inves

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our dog trainer, Jenn, while working with our Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy. From the very beginning, Jenn was, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping both us and our puppy succeed. Chesapeake Bay Retrievers can be strong-willed and energetic, and our trainer clearly understood the breed and tailored the training to our puppy’s personality and our family’s needs. The progress we saw was remarkable—not only in obedience, but also in confidence and overall behavior. Just as important, we learned how to train effectively and consistently at home, which making a lasting difference. We are incredibly grateful for the guidance, encouragement, and genuine care Jenn provided throughout the process. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jenn an

This is the 2nd time using Sit Means Sit for our dogs. We loved them 12 yrs ago and they are even better now. Now having a facility to do training was such a bonus. Myself and my pup really liked our trainer, Jenn! She did a great job working with my dog and explaining/showing/training me. We’re looking forward to joining the group classes to fine tuning what we’ve learned.
