Sisu Refuge Farm Sanctuary

I haven't had the pleasure of visiting Sisu yet, but I plan to. I love following them in social media because the authentic love and dedication they have for pigs ( and really all animals they can rescue) is nothing short of amazing. I follow vegan and animal rescue pages and see a lot of devastating images, but when Sisu pops up, it's always the heartwarming vision of pure love and devotion to the sweetest animals- sadly the most tortured and abused animals- and their contribution to saving and protecting and caring for these animals fills my heart with joy

I had the pleasure of visiting Sisu Refuge Farm Sanctuary a few years ago with my two adult sons. It warmed my heart to see how devoted all of the staff and volunteers are to these sweet animals. I can only begin to fathom the amount of hard work, dedication, and selflessness that goes into running such a facility! Thank you guys for all you do!

I have had the opportunity's to volunteer and go on a couple tours at Sisu. It is a place of healing for both animals and humans. It was AWESOME that the owners knew every single animals name and their story, and there are a lot of them. Very educational and humbling! Definitely a place to visit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Sisu is a Godsend to so many lucky pigs and animals that just are so fortunate to end up there. I’ve followed them for over a year and the work they do is nothing short of amazing! The rescues they make. The love and kindness. The ongoing medical attention. It’s made me so aware of the plight of pigs. They stand no chance with factory farming. So the ones that are there by some chance need just what Sisu offers. Please consider donating. I do. I live on the other side of our country but want to visit and see this incredible refuge in person. They exist with donations. So please. Play a part in these animals lives and give them some much needed assistance. Right now we are in awaiting the birth of Maple’s babies. Check out her rescue! If it doesn’t bring tears
