Marie has done a wonderful job training our Lab. She treated our puppy with great care and gave our dog great skills to master. What I really enjoyed was the time she spent with me to ensure I understood what my dog was trained and how I can keep up the same level of training. I love my dog and I love the potential she now can become due to the training Marie has provided. I would highly recommend Silver Lion Kennel to anyone in the area that is wanting their dog trained.

Marie did an amazing job training our puppy. A friend calls her "a dog wisperer, and she certainly lives up to the reputation. She treated our 10 month old as one of her own dogs. She knows her craft and gave both our dog and our family the skills to manage a very strong, rambunctious puppy. We are planning to come back for extensive training! I have always trained my own dogs and I'm very particular about the training and care of my dogs. I was admittedly apprehensive before sending my dog to training at SLK for two months this past spring. This is a family dog that hadn't even been boarded for a weekend in the last 4 years. After bringing my dog home from training, I can confidently say that Marie is someone I trust my dog with (and that list isn't long), and I would recommend her to others. I found the care to be excellent, and I appreciated being involved in the process. She was always willing to discuss her training approaches and was open to my thoughts as well. We rescued a hound at 5 months old and struggled with training. He didn’t listen and was out of control most of the time. We really didn’t know what to do next. We had always trained our pups on our own, but were at a loss. That is until Marie….she saved us. She gave him a great foundation and worked with us so we knew the commands he understood and taught us how to apply them as well as how to use the ecollar. The kennels are very clean. Our pup was extremely well cared for. Our puppy is still learning, which is normal, but we now have the tools and the confidence to help him. Sending him to Silver Lion Kennels the best thing we did for all of us!!!

Marie helped me tremendously with my pudelpointer in preparing for a NAVHDA test. She was able to get him over a training hurdle in a week that I was struggling with all summer and sent him home with a training plan for success. She also spent time training me to communicate better with my dog. Finally and most importantly, she took great care of my dog when his ear flared up and bothered him and kept in close communication during his time with her. I hope to bring him back to Silver Lion Kennels whenever I get stuck with my training or need to be away from home for an extended period.
