Silly Dog is amazing! I have a very unique dog called a Finnish lapphund and they are the first to ever get the cut right. Quincy especially, at the Trolley Square location always gets my boy right. They showed me things I didn’t know my dogs coat could do. I’ll be moving to Baltimore soon and I’ll still drive up here for the day just to have them hook him up. Rochelle is amazing as well. My dog absolutely loves her and she provided me with education on how to properly care for a double coated dog. Great team, great service. Highly recommended.!!

I recently took my anxious dog to Silly Dog Grooming and was serviced by Richelle, and the experience was truly outstanding from beginning to end. My dog has always struggled with high anxiety during grooming appointments, so I was nervous about trying a new place. However, the staff immediately made both of us feel comfortable. They spoke calmly, moved gently, and took their time letting my dog get used to the environment before starting. The salon itself was spotless, quiet, and smelled clean — no harsh chemical scents or loud dryers that can make nervous dogs more uneasy. By the time I picked my dog up, I could tell they had been treated with patience and care. The haircut was perfect — neat, soft, and just how I requested — and my dog actually looked relaxed instead of stressed out. T

We have a large Pitt mix that we rescued as a senior who is very very sensitive and nervous about being restrained. We were so worried that we’d never be able to find anyone to groom her because she always became so defensive and snappy. But Silly Dogs had her come in early so they could see her alone. They took their time with her and were able to tend to her nails, and they never once gave the impression that she was too much to handle. I honestly could have cried from relief. We will certainly return and recommend Silly Dogs highly to anyone looking for a compassionate and empathetic groomer.

Took my Newfoundland, Henry, to Silly Dogs in N. Wilmington this morning. He went in looking like a walking tumbleweed and came out tangle-free, trimmed up, and smelling great. Pricing was super reasonable, and the groomer clearly has the patience of a saint. Henry usually gets anxious with strangers, but he soaked up his spa day and pranced out of there like a show dog. Thank you!!

My boi Diego was in need of a sanitary cut. I was able to walk-in and have that done with a complimentary touch up to face! Thank you Eneida for taking care of my boi. We will be returning soon for full grooming. By the way, the waiting area is sooo cute🐾🐾
