If I could give 10 stars I would. I adopted a dramatic reactive rottie and Theo helped me understand her behaviors, her triggers, and came up with a game plan on how to help her build confidence. He’s patient, communicates clearly, and is always prepared for any situation. He didn’t hesitate when I asked if we could train at my home in her environment. It allowed us to see when she would react, what was causing it, and how to address it. Theo would demonstrate a correction and then have me work with my dog and give feedback. He helped us build communication, trust, and obedience. Highly recommended Theo!!!

Theo has done an amazing job working with my puppy, Indigo. Thanks to his dedication over all of our sessions, Indigo and I enjoy our days stress free wherever we go. He has a reliable off leash recall so we can play freely on the beach and open fields. His loose leash heel and basic obedience is absolutely on point. Can’t thank Theo enough for all of Indigo’s progress!! Highly recommend cause it was absolutely worth it!

I have a wildly enthusiastic , wildly overprotective mixed breed dog. I knew nothing about dog training. I had no control and no idea how to get it; books and videos don’t cut it. Theo taught me how to manage her with simple techniques, to be used consistently. Now I can go on hikes with friends, bringing her along. I could not have kept her if I hadn’t worked with Theo. Theo is always kind and patient, and he loves dogs. I could not recommend him more highly.

Theo is a wonderful trainer. Our dog has made tremendous progress under his watchful and well experienced eye. Everything from basic obedience and commands to learning how to avoid aggression and distractions. I got a fair bit of training too. Whatever her shortcomings are now, they are all on me.

We have fostered over 120 dogs of all breeds and sizes over the past 10 years, and Freckles is one of only two fosters we have ever had difficulty assimilating into our own pack of four dogs due to his reactivity and anxiety. Theo is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and—most importantly—flexible. He always comes prepared with a plan, yet he can easily pivot to address specific questions or behaviors that come up from our practice during the week. In just six weeks, Theo trained us to better understand and support Freckles so he could feel more comfortable in a variety of situations and environments.
