I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Shiver. My daughter had just lost her mare to what a previous vet stated was spasmotic colic. I will just say that vet didnt reply to changes in her condition nor did he call or text when he heard about her passing. A friend suggested we contact Dr. Shiver in the future. Unfortunately, two weeks later, her horse, Maverick became ill and we were all so worried. We called Dr Shiver and he was there immediately. We have owned horses for 20 years and I can honestly say I have NEVER met a more caring and thorough equine vet. He was determined to get to the bottom of what the problem was with Maverick. He stated he wanted us to notify him with updates and was prompt when we did. He was available and attentive as if this was his own horse. We will never f
