Dr.Shannon did absolutely amazing with my pit-husky mix! My girl has had a very “interesting” experience throughout her life with vet visits and it has become an anxiety inducing situation for both of us when it came to her yearly wellness visits, but Dr. Shannon came in with the confidence for herself, me and Sunny. She had so much patience for both of us, allowing me time to work with her through some of her anxiety and ask questions throughout the entire process, making this the smoothest vet appointment we have ever had!

We had our first visit with Dr. Shannon and were so impressed! I love that you call when you arrive and they come out to get you, and with a new puppy, it’s such a relief not having to wait around other potentially sick animals. The facility is cozy but surprisingly spacious, and everyone we interacted with was kind and welcoming. Dr. Shannon was wonderful with our puppy and with my two little kids who came along. She was informative, patient, and walked us through everything: medications, food, vaccinations, and what to expect as new puppy owners. I also really appreciated their more holistic approach and that nothing felt pushy or overwhelming. I cannot believe I have never written a review for Shannon Vet. I came to them years ago when I adopted my Freddie. They were linked with Angels Among Us because he needed surgery for his femur. The kindness and care they provided meant so much to me that I had them start to treat my Zoey. It’s a drive for me but when you find quality care, you stick with it. And they cared for my Zoey until her actual final breath. Their compassion during those final days is something I will never forget. Now that I have a new addition to the family, there is only one choice for my dogs continued care.

I was a big supporter of Shannon’s vet services. I truly thought they cared about the wellbeing of animals. Today I found out otherwise. Due to a disagreement with Dirt Road Doggies Rescue , they have decided to drop me as a client. I have a beautiful 8 week old German Shepard I just got three days ago. Yesterday she started having diarrhea and was clearly not feeling well.. this morning she was vomiting WHOLE worms and they were all in her bowel movements as well. I called Shannon’s urgently, trying to get River there as quickly as I could. I made my appointment , I got me and River ready only for the RECEPTIONIST to call me and let me know I’m not longer welcome at their clinic. Which is INSANE.
