Seymour Veterinary Clinic

Brought my sweet old man Pluto there who has never been a fan of the vets office. Hes the sweetest dog you will ever meet until you bring him to a vets office then he needs to be muzzled.. but here even though he was not feeling great at all and ended up having to cross the rainbow bridge you can tell he was scared but felt comfortable with the the dr and staff. When it was time to let him go they gave him chocolate and sat on the floor with me and him (you dont see that kind of care these days anymore) and i couldnt have been more grateful to them.. i cried like a baby and the lady with short black hair i wish i remembered her name that whole night is so foggy now but she gave me a hug and even sat with him when i had to run out to the car. So thankful for Seymour vet clinic. We took our 9 yr old baby here for a second opinion and Dr. Randolph was so patient and loving with him. We made a hard decision to help him pass and relieve his pain but she was so comforting not only to him during the process but to us as well. I will forever be grateful for the way they took care of us

We have been coming to Seymour Veterinary for years now and love the staff. They are always caring and supportive; listen and provide guidance on caring for our pets. While it may not be on the main road, the expertise and experience of the staff make Seymour Vet the place to bring your pet. We have had pets through the years that needed a leg mended, teeth cleaned, fatty tumor removed or just regular check ups, and I never second guess where to take them.

Dr. Fortner seems like a super compassionate and knowledgeable vet. I move a lot for work so our elderly lap dog has seen 3 different vets in the last 3 years. Dr. Fortner was much more thorough and easier to talk to than any of them. I wish I lived close enough to use her full time.

We recently had our first visit with Seymour Veterinary Clinic and we couldn’t be more pleased with the care our kitten received! After a routine procedure, she experienced an unexpected post-op complication that led to an infection. The team went above and beyond! Dr. Heather checked in with us every day and, once inpatient care became necessary, kept us updated with frequent messages, photos and videos. Our kitten truly felt like she was at her second home. Even now that she’s back home, Dr. Heather continues to follow up to make sure she’s recovering well. The level of compassion and communication was outstanding and we’ll happily make the 45-minute drive to see them again in the future! 🐾
