I am so grateful to have found Serenity Pet Spa. Lorena is honestly the best dog groomer in East Stroudsburg, PA. I have a Yorkshire Terrier named Frankie, and after a bad experience with his previous groomer, he became really anxious about grooming appointments. Because of that, he can be pretty difficult especially when it comes to nail trimming. She is incredibly patient and calm with him and never rushes the process. Somehow she always gets his nails trimmed (which, again, is definitely not easy) and his haircut looks perfect every time. She is really good at listening to what I want, too. I find a lot of groomers ignore my instructions and always assume I just want whatever Yorkie cut is trendy, but I like when my dog looks like my dog afterwards. Lorena was Amazing! She was patient with my baby Bella whom still gets nervous on grooming days, but Bella’s overall experience was great. Nails, teeth, ears, and Coat was looking, and smelling fabulous. She managed to squeeze me in for a last minute appointment while also accommodating my time frame. She displayed patience with my little one which was a an absolute plus, Lorena’s calm demeanor along with her love for her craft made for the perfect combination to please not only me but also my Bella. Lorena the owner is very nice and friendly, a sweetheart. My fur baby girl came out super clean and even her nails look beautiful with red nail polish and all. Lorena was very patient, caring with and thorough with my beautiful fur baby girl's complete grooming service. So happy I now finally have a great new grooming salon to take my two fur baby girls to in the area that was extremely needed.

Come here if you want to be scammed out of $60! Please look closely at your dog before you leave. My dogs face looked great but when I got home I noticed her legs and underbelly were not done. For context I had tried to do a DIY haircut so most of her body was already shaven. I paid $60 to get 1/4 of my 7lb dog groomed, looks like only her front paws were touched. Previous groomers always rave on how good my dog is at grooming and they are able to get her whole body including the hygiene area and her legs. Despite having bookings available online for one of the following days, groomer stated they were “not available.” They did offer other times to come in, however I was unable then. However, I should not have to make a second trip and wait another 2 hours for my 7lb dog to be groomed.
