Sedalia Animal Shelter

This was the nicest animal shelter I have ever visited. Beautiful, clean, staff was super friendly and welcoming. I adopted a 6 month old kitty and the whole experience was so enjoyable. Left feeling so very happy.

What a cool place to visit. We got a kitty. It took longer to pick one out then it did to pick one out. The staff was so nice and extremely helpful.

We found two kittens over 3rd Street by the cemetery. The woman was very unfriendly when we explained where we found them. She said, If we find out you abounded these kittens we will come back an we have always always d charge you for abandonment. After we had told her we already had two cats and I was getting ready to go into surgery and we couldn't have them under foot. They looked only 5 weeks old. We have raised 6 different strays over the years.The woman made us feel like low lifes and that had done something wrong. We take supplies to them monthly and we get treated like this.

Honest and helpfull people who really care for the animals they have there. I adopted a sweetheart they had named Boom who is now Lolly Pop. Great place, very clean, and organized, not like some places I have seen. Worth your time to check this shelter out if your looking for a companion. I give them 10 stars because they deserve it.
