Secondhand Pet Supply

Really love this spot now; saw SPS a few times in passing whilst in the Lloyd Center. Now I'm very happy I checked it out before shopping at any other pet store today! One of the few with a wide variety of pet items that aren't just for cats & dogs, all while still being super affordable. Got a custom smaller sized tank for $30, plus some extra & really cute enclosure stuff for my snail. It could've easily cost me a $100+ at any other retail petstore. Sounds crazy but it's true! Would also like mention I was assisted every step of the way as well. Even my absurd request for "something to put a snail in" was met with friendly assistance:-) TLDR: Great prices & great service. My fellow mall walker Kate and I had a lovely chat with Micheal the owner of this non-profit 2nd hand pet supply store and what he is trying to do to be more climate conscious. He has used & Up-cycled pet supplies including beds,dog/cat collars, Bowles, crates and toys. Located by the Lloyd Center Mall Skating rink

Okay shopping experience. I don't love that prices aren't marked. I think there are good deals on some items but the owner priced some things I was interested in in the same price I can get for new at HomeGoods or online. I like the sustainability aspect of the store but I didn't love my shopping experience.

I cannot recommend Secondhand Pet Supply enough! Finding this place was a blessing because my partner and I are about to adopt two kittens, and we didn't have any kitty gear yet. The owner greeted us and, upon finding out we needed basically everything to care for our kitties, he took the time to walk us around the store & his storage unit, make recommendations as to what supplies we would need, and really showed sincerity and care in wanting to set us up for success in being cat moms! The pricing was very fair - he would look up current published cost for the items and give us a solid discount off of that. We ended up saving so much by buying everything from him instead of new. One of the best things is that if we no longer need the supplies we bought or our kitties don't like it/grow out

Weird experience, the items have no prices listed on the floor and the owner uses his phone to find the product online and sells it to you for half of that cost. I would rather that work be done ahead of time and price labels be put on so I don’t have to shop with an employee hovering over me doing lots of work while I price compare multiple items. A fine store, just a weird practice and if I come back, I will do my own googling to avoid the awkward closeness.
