Seagoville Animal Shelter

This little shelter is amazing! The staff and volunteers are super helpful and knowledgeable about the animals in their care. If you’re looking for a new furry family member, I recommend this shelter!

I understand that this place may be small, probably under funded, and understaffed, but wow... I have never been to a more sad little place. I went to look at a dog and got there about 30 minutes before closing. The shelter was open, but no one was there. I looked everywhere , but I was there alone with those poor dogs. I could have loaded my car with them and left without anyone knowing and that's just sad. The City of Seagoville should be ashamed and do something about this. Those animals deserve better.

We got our sweet Phoebe here. The man was very nice that helped and made adoptions very easy. They responded quickly to Facebook messages when I asked about what available kittens they had. We couldn’t be more happy to have rescued from the Seagoville shelter!

I adopted a kitten there today. The staff lady was really helpful. I was given a good price for the adoption fee. I was also given a giftbag. And they gave me a cool cardboard animal carrying box. I give my experience there today five stars.
