I came in to look at 2 puppies for potential service dog training and when the puppies i saw failed tests they showed me Mary..Who is now forever going to be known as Storm. She is the sweetest and gentlest german Shepard ive met. She will be a great service dog. The people knew what i was looking for and helped me find it

I adopted my dog here so long ago, he recently passed away from cancer and a neurological disorder (old age). We had Phoenix Jackson for 15 years, and I want to thank this organization for giving him a second chance! We had an amazing life together. We adventured all over the world, backpacking, kayaking, hiking, road tripping, and living in multiple countries across the globe. He had so many friends! He was incredibly loyal, like a son. He was everything to me! From the first day to his last, he gave us 100%, and I loved him more than life itself. Thank you! Keep up the good work, making the world a better place for us all. Friendly staff who want to help you meet your new furry friend. They tend to have larger dogs as those are the least adopted.

Two times now I’ve gone to adopt a pup. Two times I’ve been told our application has been approved. Two times I’ve gone to pick up the pups only to discover they’ve adopted them out to other people. That wouldn’t be an issue if we weren’t told that the adoption was a “done deal”. It wasn’t an issue with application fees or anything like that. Both times another application for someone else came in and was “misplaced” and we were told they had “first dibs” and both times we lost the pup we really wanted because of a “clerical error.” I’m done with them. If I could give less than 1 star I would. The director told me today she “feels awful” about it but she isn’t the one who has to tell my kids they aren’t getting the dog they fell in love with so I don’t want to hear how “awful” she feels.

This is the nicest shelter I have ever been to! Not only was this the cleanest and most organized shelter, it's also one of the calmest. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I've been researching and planning for a dog for nearly 2 years. I am so happy to have found the perfect fit! Thank you so much Devin and Tasha!
