Scituate Animal Shelter

I took home the best friend I've ever had from the Scituate animal shelter 11 years ago. We shared incredible memories together for 10 whole years. I went back after he was gone 11 years later and it's still the same great place run but the same great people. It's clear they care about the animals here and it shows. This is a very clean and well taken care of facility. The people here are very friendly and passionate about what they do. It is a great shelter and I'm so thankful to have found my best friend here all these years ago. I can't say enough about this place from top to bottom. I hope to be involved with this shelter for many years to come. If you've ever adopted a pet from this shelter, I can guarantee a piece of them will always live on through the Scituate animal shelter.

I've brought home 4 cats from this shelter and they've all been wonderful! Well taken care of in a clean facility. The staff has always been super friendly as well. I know I'll make a return visit (or two!) in the future!

Although remote, it was worth the drive. The staff including the volunteers were all great. They took our application over the phone. They called me the next day and we had a great talk. We went to pick him up, and they were all terrific. Everyone hugged our new cat before we took him away to his forever home, their dedication and generosity were obvious. Thank you for a great adoption experience.

Officer Aaron is great. Helpful, professional and you can tell truly cares about the animals and their stories. The shelter is very, very clean. Felt very welcomed.

Extremely neat and clean, I was very impressed with the environmental conditions. The Scituate Animal control officer is a great person to talk with and discuss your concerns. He listens to what you have to say.
