My cat reckless got trapped by someone and turned in. Instead of doing the smart thing of scanning his chip. They instead loaded him up with shots and clipped his ear without even checking he has an owner. They did all of that without my consent. Their policies and procedures definitely need to be audited. Than to make me pay for it even though he already got the shots before. Seems pretty scammy to do procedures before checking if the cat is owned.
This shelter is horrible. Me and my boyfriend adopted a little kitten about 2-3 months old. First problem is that they spayed her too early and if all cat owners know that when you spay a kitten too early they can have intestinal problems. Since being home she seemed fine, she was doing great. Just last night my boyfriend came home and she was internally bleeding out, she walked from the bed to the floor and passed away. There was blood everywhere and it was not okay. It was their job to make sure she was healthy as possible to be adopted. She shouldn’t even have been up for adoption knowing she was spayed too early. They let us adopt her 2 days after her spay, 2 DAYS!! I highly and full heartedly can say this is the worst shelter experience we have had our entire life. Don’t ever ado
EDIT: DONT ADOPT HERE, THEIR CATS ARE INFECTED WITH CHLAMYDIA! unless you want to treat your cat, don't adopt here. They have a clear malpractice where they presume the cat is cured from something as infectious as Chlamydia and let the sick cats infect other cats. I do not recommend adopting here especially if you have an animal at home!!!! Take it from me, my vet bills have already exceeded 1.5k. they should be curing their cats of sickness before putting them out for adoption . A car with Chlamydia is NOT A CAT THATS READY TO BE ADOPTED. - I adopted a kitten from here two weeks ago from yesterday and he has Chlamydia. They told me several times he is cured from it, gave me medical records to prove he's "cured" but clearly he isn't. As a now multi cat household, he actually got my ot
I took my cat, Sunkist, to be chipped today. Very caring and professional staff here! It didn’t take very long and they said my cat was great. As he wondered up on my porch I didn’t know his age or anything about him. He had gotten his shots on Sunday so could get chopped today. Thank you for having such wonderful staff, Claire and Nikki!
Picked up live trap to catch feral cats living under neighbors home. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They want me to try to get the momma cat if I can, so they can spay and release her back because they help control the rodent population.
