Saving Grace Humane Society

If I could give a negative star I would. I found a dog on Melrose road. She had no tag on her collar, so I tried calling Saving Grace. No answers to any of the numerous phone calls. So, I took her to their establishment, and was told to stay outside in the cold. I was told if I was cold to go back to my vehicle. Upon arriving at this place I noticed several employees and volunteers, but apparently no one has a heart in this place because of the way that myself and this poor pup were treated. I know this business gets grants and just looking through the door I saw piles of donations of food and beds for animals, and it seems to me that this is all this business cares about. Money, well I guess it is the root of everything, but as a caring human I could not just let this poor pup get r

When you get here. You have actually walk in and see dogs. You have to look at the dogs on a computer, then say which obese you want to look at. Ok, so we close 4 dogs to look at. It took almost 30min to see the 1st dog. Your just sitting in this smelly waiting room. Very inefficient. I don't even think they knew we were waiting to see a fog till I again spoke up AGAIN. There were other pple in the waiting room for an adoption which almost took 4 hrs. I know they are trying to do a good job, but this place is far too get to and not that nice of staff. Better to get a pretty pot of the paper

we feed and water a few strays around our neighborhood, one of our strays we’ve named scrappy. he’s a very sweet, loving, little orange cat. we’ve taken him to saving grace to get him neutered because he was a product of people not spaying/neutering their animals and frankly that’s just not fair to them. when we took him to get neutered we told them that we would take him back to our neighborhood and continue feeding him, a few days pass and they called saying we could pick him up, so we did. well few months go by and it’s last friday (11/08/25) scrappy ending up getting an upper respiratory infection and a cold in his eye, so my mom and my boyfriend went to take him in to get him treated as it’s getting cold outside and we didn’t want him to be sick and getting worse during this cold seas

Great staff and management! Super helpful as we took 5 active kittens from 3 feral litters and an adult female cat that were quietly dropped off at our home to be cared for by their vet. We are able to rest assured that our new family members are healthy and not contributing to the population. Thanks Saving Grace and Valerie!

I called to neuter a cat. They lady that helped was very friendly and helpful. I made an apt online like she said but its a tight window because so many people are trying to get in too. Besides that I took the cat in and picked it up the same day. They even called the day before the appointment so I wouldn't forget. All in all, its small place so expect to wait for help but the people I met there were phenomenal.
