SAVES - Small Animal Veterinary Emergency & Specialty

One of our cats, Loki was scratched on the ear by our other cat and on a Friday evening, had to have a hematoma drained. Everyone was kind, concerned and took great care of him. When we brought him home, he looked like a little Polish Grandma with his ear wrap. SAVES made sure to promptly send all notes and materials to our regular vet, so the procedure could be finished on Monday morning. They did everything necessary to give him all the care he needed to get us thru the weekend, and the vet made sure I understood what was going on.

I was really impressed with the care and compassion from start to finish. When I made my first phone call to SAVES, I was upset and very nervous about Maple’s symptoms. She is almost 8 months old and had never been this sick before. Their compassion and empathy was on display immediately. Once we arrived, every person we spoke with was wonderful. Our case was triaged appropriately and I felt that we were seen quickly considering how busy it was that day. Dr. McDevitt took the time to go over the treatment options in detail, including different options based on preferred budget, and was very thorough in answering my questions. No one wants to go to the vet on a Saturday night during the holidays, but SAVES made the experience calm and reassuring. A vet emergency room can be a place of chaos and emotional intensity, but every step of the way the people and processes at SAVES encouraged a feeling of safety, care, and respect. Luckily my 17 year old furry princess only needed a light round of antibiotics, and their care of her was top notch. I couldn't recommend SAVES more highly.

The staff at SAVES in Lebanon, NH were amazing. Very professional, kind and compassionate. ❤️ Our sweet little chihuahuas went into flash pulmonary edema from a heart condition we didn’t even know he had, and they were able to stabilize him, turn him around with medications and send him home the next day.

Well when we arrived home last evening, while having a light dinner, our most loved Havanese Alizee had a seizure. Oh my gosh this was most upsetting to say the least. She recovered in 15 or 20 minutes and was running around tail wagging so I decided I'd call my Vet in the morning Well that didn't work as when she and I went to bed I suddenly felt her push against me and then was quite wobbly so I panicked.
