Such a wonderful caring staff! Came here in the middle of the night last night and my girl was treated with the upmost care and understanding. Amy and Dr. Jamie treated Millie so lovingly and gently despite her white coat syndrome. Lovely team y’all have here.

On Feb 20,2026 our beloved English bulldog-Peppa decided to cross the rainbow in the middle of a cross country drive from FL to PA. She was almost 12 yrs old and had a great life in which she gives us her best! She was a first in everything...a emotional support and daughter to our oldest, a grand- doggie to us and got respect and a place in our family. With all this said we were in the middle of Georgia struggling and heartbroken 💔 with the passing of one family member and find The Savanah Veterinary Emergency Clinic, they help,support and threat us like they known us forever. My sweet boy passed away in my arms tonight. This is the second day we had visited this vet this week, and have been here prior as well. The compassion and empathy I was shown made this process easier. They gave me time with my baby, they explained everything to me, and answered all my questions. Being reassured that this was the right decision by the vet was exactly what I needed to hear in this moment. They’re busy, but that has never stopped them from showing deep empathy towards me and my boy. I will never forget their kindness. This was my first pet, so a huge loss. I couldn’t have done it without them. To all the vets that worked with him from reception to him being put to sleep, THANK YOU!

Our sweet baby Hero was just diagnosed very recently with cancer- unfortunately it was extremely aggressive and his condition deteriorated before we could even begin palliative treatments with Dr. Datars, a wonderful oncologist at the same location. Quite suddenly, it became clear that he was suffering and if we didn’t bring him in to bring about a peaceful end soon it would be terrible for him. It was at 2 AM and I was so broken up I couldn’t even speak coherently but they were so clear, professional and extremely empathetic and so gentle with my sweet dog. I was grateful that they were able to do humane euthanasia in a room set up like a living room and offered different options for him to be collected for cremation. Savannah veterinarian emergency clinic is awesome! We brought our cat Momo in with a large mass on her leg. The vets and vet techs worked with us to identify what the mass was and the best course of action to address it. They treated us and Momo with care, compassion, and expertise. She’s on the mend and as sweet as ever. Thank you SVEC and all those who work with the animals and their people. Highly recommend!
