I used these services some time ago and have debated leaving a review for a while. I dont like to bash on small business but i do feel cheated out of a good amount of money. We brought our dog to them for basic training. The trainer was new and in training herself which she let slip after a few weeks in. Besides getting very little updates , when we had our mid-way review our puppy was worse than usual. Only obeying basics commands after a few tries and yelling. By the time the 4 weeks had come to pass she was as hard headed as ever and refused commands. They kept her an additional week and actually tried to get us to pay for that extra time. Wow, we are so grateful to SIK and trainer Amy! Our new rescue puppy Tabor excelled in his month long obedience training and had so much fun. They were very flexible and accommodated our last minute scheduling needs. We now understand our dog’s needs better and he knows what we want from him. The difference is night and day. We appreciated the regular updates with photos from Amy and knew he was being well taken care of. Everything at the kennel was spotless and he came home to us freshly bathed. We can’t wait to board him here in the future and cannot express how appreciative we are for this board and train option.

They did an amazing job training my husky, Max — and anyone who’s had a husky knows how stubborn they can be. I’ve seen such a big improvement in his behavior and focus. A huge thank you to Brooklyn for the incredible work she did with him! She was patient, professional, and truly cared about Max’s progress. Highly recommend this place!

Absolutely love this place for both training and boarding. Brooklyn in particular was a HUGE help with our reactive shepherd. We opted for the month-long training and I only wish we did it sooner. We feel so lucky to have a fun and engaging place to board our boy while we're out of town. For an anxious dog to arrive and always show signs of being happy to be there, that's a big deal. I can't recommend enough.

My stubborn senior cattle dog Roger loved his obedience training, as did I! He was so excited to see his trainer Amy when he came back to practice his skills. Amy was a great teacher for me as well. We couldn’t be happier with the training and care Roger received during his stay.
