Upon entry to Sarnia Vet Urgent Care, I noticed the clinic was clean, warm, and inviting. Dr. Sidhu was fantastic with my cat, Janey. She received some vaccines and the vet tech was fabulous at handling and holding Janey during her shots. Dr. Sidhu let me know that Janey had pain along her lower belly; most likely from the previous spay surgery prior to me adopting her. I had never noticed her being uncomfortable with touch in that area and I am thankful he noticed. He also let me know she had slightly inflamed lymph nodes. I am grateful for the extra information I wouldn’t have know otherwise. Thank you so much SVUC. I will be returning.

The conduct of the staff here was so amazing. So gentle and kind to our lab mix who needed care. You can tell they are there to help and are extremely compassionate. I’ll be switching this to my go to vet office for sure 💗 as you can see Jax is to good for the floor and prefers the chairs lol.

I had a very distressing experience here and would not return. My dog is 15 years old and nearing the end of her life, which made this visit extremely emotional for my family. Unfortunately, the veterinarian showed little to no compassion during the appointment. His demeanour felt dismissive and tense, and at times he appeared to be smiling or laughing during serious conversations about my dog’s condition, which felt deeply inappropriate given the circumstances. A staff member was brought into the exam room as a “witness,” despite no raised voices or aggressive behaviour from us. This escalated the situation unnecessarily and made us feel uncomfortable asking questions about my dog’s care. There was also confusion with my dog’s prescription. It was faxed to a pharmacy that does not carry t

My cat unexpectedly passed at home on Christmas Eve. Sarnia Veterinary Urgent Care was the only place open and they treated us with such kindness and compassion during a very rough night. They trimmed some of his fur for us to keep and let us say a long goodbye and take as much time as we needed to process and decide what we wanted to do. They were also able to confirm how he passed (heart attack). I picked up his ashes and the staff wrote us an handwritten note with their condolences even though we were a new client. Although they couldn't do anything to help my kitty, how they handled an awful situation was much appreciated. I would absolutely trust them for any pet emergency or regular vet care.

Our mini golden doodle dog became violently ill on Friday night of this past Thanksgiving weekend and our regular Vet was closed until Tuesday. Desperately searching the internet we found Sarnia Emergency Veterinary Urgent Care on Phillips St. in Sarnia. We called and was told to bring her in immediately. Dr. Sidhu and his excellent staff quickly diagnosed her as having a blockage but as her platelets were low, surgery was a risk. Dr. Sidhu made our dog comfortable and began a series of treatments over the next six days that saved her life without surgery. We cannot thank him and his office enough. We were treated with unbelievably professional service by everyone and the Dr. was very respectful and honest to us, always explaining in full each procedure and its cost before he proceeded. A
