Sangary Kennels

This is the only place I'll take my dog for an extended stay. They'll be treated right and groomed. Dogs will have access to go in and out on their own, also have a playtime with the own in a bigger exercise area.

Very grateful for Sandie at Sangary Kennels. We visit Seneca Lake as often as we can from Northern NJ. There lots of things to do and places to go in the area that are dog friendly, but most of them involve being outside. When the first day of a weekend trip up here turned out to be much colder and wetter than anticipated, we needed a place where our Spaniel/Eskimo mix could spend the day that wouldn't involve him hopping in and out of the car with us or us sitting at picnic tables huddled against cold, driving wind. 😁 Sandie had room for our boy on short notice, she was great about us dropping him off right at the end of her AM business hours. Sandy has been taking care of not only my pets for several years but my extended family's pets as well. She knows dogs and how to handle their behaviors. The kennel is clean and bright. She offers grooming as an option as well. You can rest easy knowing your pet is safe and cared for at Sangary Kennel. Give them a try the next time you go away.

The only reason they are getting a 5 star is because when I spoke to her on the phone to set up a reservation for my 2 dogs, she told my husband and I how bad of a out break there is with heartworm in her area. Thank you for saving us money!!! She was very rude to say the least, telling us we had to use her dog food and not ours, that Pedigree was garbage,also that our vet was irresponsible for not putting our dogs on a heartworm pill,plus my dog gets pumpkin for her acid reflux and I was told by this lady that it's only good for diarrhea, Now our vet put her on pumpkin and we noticed a big difference. Thank you again for your attitude and not such information you gave us. Glad we didn't use you and saved all that money.

She knows her dogs! She cleans them off they have an accident. She asks questions about how we care for him at home so she can continue same schedule for things such as feeding. Very friendly. Only slightly downside- charges by the day instead of by the night, but her care for our dog made up for that.
