tldr: overall happy with my spay experience for my 6 month old puppy. thank you to the staff that are able to keep this place running! the price i payed was comparable to sd humane- with optional care included! i would recommend this place if you understand this is a high volume, low cost clinic and are able to discern which add-ons are necessary, if any, for your dog. if you’ve chosen to get your dog fixed here: come prepared knowing you’ll have to leave time to find parking, that everyone checks in at 8:30, and that you’ll need your current vaccinations at hand. i’d recommend printing and filling out the paper work at home and planning to arrive at 8am so you can park in the lot. they will explain aftercare to you at pickup. checkup exams are not necessary, but are free within the first
The price is good and my pup was ready in 5 hours. The staff was great and super nice. My only issue: my appointment was at 8am, they don't open until 8:30am, I was 1st in line but they had the medicated pups 1st(which I understand), but then they called the female dogs in next and made our wait much longer. So they didn't take my pup in until about 9am. I just wish it would have explained that process on their site so I could plan better. Aside from that, I had a great experience there.
We are extremely grateful to the entire team for the exceptional care they provided to our dog, Stella, especially Dr. Campbell. From start to finish, the staff was kind, professional, and incredibly compassionate. Dr. Campbell took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and made a very stressful situation much more manageable. Stella was treated as if she were their own, and the level of medical care and follow up gave us complete confidence and peace of mind. She is recovering well thanks to their expertise and dedication. We highly recommend this clinic. BIG SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE STAFF!
Nothing against the staff members, they were so sweet and definitely seemed to be compassionate towards my cat. However, unless you are truly tight on funds please don’t take your animal here.. this was very traumatic for me and my cat. They are low cost clinic so they take a high number of pets to do surgery on in a single day. There were over 30 cats there when I was dropping off and the dogs are dropped off earlier so I don’t even know how many dogs were there, however in the 8 hours I find it incredibly disheartening to even consider doing 50+ surgeries in one day in a 8 hour period. My cat was left in his cage on a shelf before surgery for who knows how long with no water, and then stuffed back in his small crate after surgery. I picked him up completely saturated in his own urine and
I took my kitten there over a year ago, everything has been until yesterday, all of a sudden she’s hiding from me, won’t even eat temptations, then I notice her go to the litter and this clear mucus is coming out of here, long story short, she hasn’t peed or pooped in 2 days now or ate and I just left her at an ER hospital paying $4k but the crazy thing is the receptionist came out earlier and asked me if she was spayed and I said why do you ask me that the vet earlier today asked me that 3 times and now you why is that, she goes cuz they think they see a uterus, I go she was spayed over a year ago. That’s a lot of left over tissue if they’re saying that, so she’s in ICU right now doing some other tests then an ultrasound but I swear after reading all these other horror reviews, enough is
