Saints Elsewhere Pet Rescue

I found my fur-ever friend here. These ladies are wonderful and they take excellent care of the rescues they are housing. Her name is Mia. She is so sweet and cuddly.

My wife and I called Saints Elsewhere Pet Recue after reading a touching bio on a mixed poodle at the rescue center. We wanted to rescue a dog who needed a family as we were a family that needed a true rescue dog after loosing our 20 year old maltipoo rescued at 5 years old. The staff was wonderful and honest. We drove 1500 miles round trip to meet and then take home Ruby 🌹 the pup in need of lots of love and tlc. What a wonderful way to help us heal. Our thanks to Kathy and Ruby's foster mom for saving her for us.

I adopted a dog from this rescue group in April of 2022. I drove down from the metro Detroit area and thought I had found a great new dog; I was mistaken. I had met the dog the previous weekend and she seemed so happy, playful and friendly, she was probably drugged. The following weekend when it was time to go get her, her personality was completely the opposite with aggressive barking, growling and snarling. I should have listened to my gut instinct which was saying “ run !” . That is my fault that I adopted this dog. Her aggressive behavior has increased and she has gone from growling, barking and snarling to biting members of my family. When I contacted Lisa, the director of this group, she gave me excuse after excuse as to why this dog was so aggressive, even blaming me for it.

We met Kathy at Saints Elsewhere when we went to look into adopting Sherlock, which we did. Working with Kathy was a very good experience and we felt that her primary interest was getting Sherlock into a good home. We love Sherlock and are very pleased with the adopting experience.

Emily a rescue Belgian malinois, came into my care about 6 months ago. Ups and downs due to abuse but she has turned out to be a fantastic dog after a bit of training. When I saw "a bit" I mean A LOT. St Elsewhere to a chance on me and she has turned out to be a fantastic pup.
