SAINT Cat Rescue & Adoption Center

After two very unfortunate experiences with a different local shelter (both ending in surrenders), SAINT is hands-down the best in the area. Their process, philosophy, and care for the cats is incredible and made a HUGE difference! Definitely not a shelter that says "you got $50? Here's a cat, we don't know anything about them". Peggy (and all the volunteers) do an incredible job vetting candidates and truly getting to know the cats to determine a good fit for both owner and cat. Our lil Marilyn from SAINT is the perfect cat for us and she is so happy. So are we! We can't thank you enough!

Recently got these 2 cuties from Saints. The process was simple and easy. The transition was fantastic. I will recommend this rescue to anyone that is looking for a kitten or cat.

I put in an application to adopt a kitten but found one elsewhere so I called to notify them. I then got an email the next day talking about declawing because I had put it down on the app that I planned to do that. She said that it is bad for them mentally and physically. I emailed her back letting her know that I found another kitten and did get it declawed already but thanked her and also let her know that I had a cat for almost 20 years and had him declawed as a baby and he never had any problems mentally or physically. I believe this is a personal decision and the fact that she went out of her way to try to get me to decide otherwise gave me a bad vibe. I guess I’m glad I didn’t end up adopting from there although the kitten I was going to get was very sweet.

They know the cats so well! I am a volunteer at the Annex location in Solon, and I've connected friends to the organization for their kitty adoptions, and they have had a great experience! I am a volunteer here, which means I get to visit weekly. The cats are great, but we are usually extremely packed with them, meaning we can't accept every cat that comes our way. The place recently got a remodel, so it's much snazier than the last time you went!
