Safe Haven For Cats is an amazing rescue shelter for cats and kittens. My husband and I have had a wonderful experience adopting there, as did my daughter. The staff will help match you with the perfect cat for your situation. It's clean, the cats are in very large cages with all the luxuries a kitty could desire. They work with cats who have medical needs as well as healthy cats and truly do wonderful work. I was there dropping off a small donation and was fortunate enough to get a tour. I met two lovely feral kittens whose litter was attacked by fire ants. They were the only survivors and unfortunately lost some toes, but they were snuggling in their fluffy bed as happy as can be now and are waiting for a forever home. After a few stops around town, we found a small calm soft cat that met all the criteria we had. The staff was wonderful with my son and his many many questions and observations. The care that was shown to our cat before she was ours was outstanding. The vet was thrilled with all the detailed paperwork about her care. I have no doubt safe haven saved our cats life and now she's healthy and happy in our home.

Adopted our baby on our first visit to Safe Haven 4 Cats after running around the town and visited other adoption centers over 6 times. We had to wait for 45min before entering, and the wait was so worth it. They do it so cats don’t get overwhelmed by the crowds and they make sure you can take your time and have opportunities to play with the cats.
