We adopted our golden from Betsy and could not recommend her more! Safari Goldens is an amazing place to get a golden. She truly cares for each dog like her own with years of love and experience. We are forever grateful for Safari Goldens!

Safari Goldens and Betsy McMichael are the best!! We have gotten six wonderful,beautiful dogs from her over the last 14 years. Betsy is always available with advice and help and is happy to host all her people and their dogs every Saturday for “Socialization Saturday”! She even has a dog Halloween party most years. We love Betsy and all her dogs!

When a golden retriever showed up at my door 14 years ago, I began a new chapter in my life - always with goldens now. Betsy welcomed my Shadow into the fold, helped to socialize and train him -- helped both of us to learn the ropes, and introduced us to the amazing world at Safari Goldens. All these years later, I share my home with three beautiful, amazing Safari goldens, and we visit Betsy and our entire Safari family frequently. Whether you are interested in a show dog or family pet, therapy or service companion, high energy sport dog or cuddle bug (or, the two rolled into one), Safari Goldens deliver! Beyond breeding top-notch dogs, Betsy always makes herself available to answer questions and, in short, assist with all things golden.I can't praise this breeder enough.

We have been lucky to own 3 amazing Golden Retriever males from Betsy. From the beginning she invited me out to meet the parents and actually see the litter! I was able to pick out my puppy and visit him till it was time for him to come home. They were all easy to train with great personalities. She also does the yearly vaccinations for free and is always there to answer questions if your dog is sick or hurt before taking them to the vet and spending a ton of money. I have also gotten great training tips from Betsy. We go back to visit and play on Socialization Saturdays which is mostly every Saturday. I got into Dock Diving this year with my Archie and he absolutely loves it he earned two titles this year!! I can't wait to see what he'll do next year. This is a wonderful place to own a G

Your relationship never ends....Betsy is always there to help you throughout your Golden's life. Most every Saturday is Social Saturday to visit with other Goldens and their owners.
