We adopted a german shepherd/kelpie mix, Ruby, at the end of January. We were dealing with some behavior issues, and Kara, from Kankakee County Humane Foundation recommended Terry. Terry is FANTASTIC. She didn't sugarcoat anything when I called and explained most of Ruby's concerning behavior, which was her trying to "herd" my now 5yr old son, who has some speech/developmental delays, and fear based aggression at any strangers that entered our home. I went to one private assessment before starting group training classes. I rescued Roxy back in December and did two 6 week training sessions with Terry before doing a 2 week board and training recently. Terry is an amazing trainer and very knowledgeable. After picking Roxy up after her board and train she was listening even better then before. One of my biggest things that I wanted her trained for was with staying in my non fenced in yard and she's doing amazing and listening so well. We took her on a camping trip right after picking her up and she did amazing. Stayed near me the whole time and so great with all the adult is and kids she was around that whole trip. We can't wait to be back training with Terry.

Terry is an amazing dog trainer. My German Shepherd would cry and scream at other dogs and people when we would go on walks. Terry addressed the issue immediately and we practiced at home. He now makes eye contact with me on walks and no more screaming. I get compliments on his behavior now too. I also started feeding him raw and purchasing from Terry. My dog is obsessed with the beef and turkey. It's actually less expensive than feeding him the Royal Canin garbage kibble he used to eat. Highly recommend!

I want to take some time to say THANK YOU for everything you have done for my precious Coco. She went from a very shy, unsure and scared girl to the best dog i could ask for. If you are looking for dog training, Terry is the person to go to! I have learned so much from her. Not just on ways to train my dogs but why it’s important for dogs to train and live stress free lives.
